Don't Ever buy Madonna hydrangeas

At the start of the Venice Film Festival press conference for Madonna's movie W.E., Madonna gets handed a hydrangea by a fan. Unfortunately for the fan, Madge loathes hydrangeas.

"I absolutely loathe hydrangeas,” she says in what sounds like a British accent. “He obviously doesn't know that." So do we believe Madonna hates hydrangeas that much, or are our legs being pulled? Apparently, she's really not a fan. Madonna's rep tells CNN: “She’s entitled to like any flower she wants and she didn’t want to hurt the feeling of the hydrangeas of the world...No disrespect to the hydrangeas lovers of the world but she prefers different types of flowers.”


But hey, maybe she was just cranky about the reviews for “W. E.”
Luckily, Madonna hasn’t quit her day job – she told reporters in Venice that her upcoming album should be out this spring, according to Billboard.


"I've started a little bit of work in the studio," she said in an interview with Swedish Sveriges Television.
